I agree they need to play better. Errors are killing us but also we are getting out hit because of our starting pitching and this supposedly murderous line up everyone talks about.

This is one of those “that’s just baseball” things but I also don’t think Morgan is comfortable batting lead off. On paper, he should be the perfect guy at the top of the lineup but going back to last year, he produces better batting 2nd.

Errors and walks have hurt us this weekend. A&M is throwing strikes and fielding better than us. Everyone is pointing to their at bats, and they have had great at bats, but they’re not killing the ball. They’re just working us then taking an advantage of mistakes.

The only possible complaint that a rational person could have with our lineup is taking too many first pitch fastballs down the middle with zero intention of swinging and the drop off with risp

Hell at this point I'd test his athleticism and see if he has the fielding range to play SS. If it's decent then you can just stick him at 3rd. Idk I want Thompson to grow but it's like watching Jarrett Lee in football. I hope they play loose at the end of the day. We need a clean ballgame to build on.

This is pure message board speculation. Berry isn’t the type of kid or player that would demand something like that at the expense of the team’s success. And Coach Jay isn’t going to do that either. There’s a method to the madness especially in the first 20 games or so and yeah it’s the fan’s right to bitch, but I’ll trust him for now to be making the best decisions.
