It’s hard to keep making excuses for Thompson at this point. If it’s mental, something has to give. He has better range than anyone else. Great, still can’t make a throw to first consistently. As average as our pitching is, we need to hope our SS can make a routine play…

Just checked Jobert is 8 for 33 (.242) since Feb 27th against Southern. Far worse if you remove the midweeks/Bethune Cookman. Hottest start on the team followed by a steady spiral.

They really need to see who else can play shortstop. Thompson is making too many mistakes. But as someone mentioned before, I would like to see the players who are making the most errors. But I believe right now it's Berry and Thompson.
And I've seen enough from Jobert. Need to try someone else at DH.

Baseball is about progress made and peaking at the right time during the season. If the team doesn’t progress throughout the season, it’s on coaching. Too early to tell, but we will know in May.
