Agreed. Comparing HS recruiting rankings to evaluations based on 3-4 years of college production is akin to comparing preseason and postseason polls.
One is based on informed evaluation of potential 4 years into the future. The other only requires you to compare actual current performance against peers.

The relevancy is, that the guys evaluating and ranking these players know their potential to one day play in the NFL. The guys that assign them these stars do so based off metrics. The same metrics they use in the NFL.
Now, answer these questions:
1. Why are 90% of NFL players 4 or 5 star recruits coming out of high school if it doesn’t mean shite? That’s your point, own it bitch.
