if we have a shot at coach O again, and miles passes, then miles will have made a big mistake

Hell of a a hire in Chavis, especially if Miles will throw his ego out the window and go get Orgeron to go along with Chavis.

Is there some way we can start an email campaign or something of the sort to Miles demanding that he bring in Orgeron as well? I'm convinced Orgeron wants to come to LSU but hasn't gotten the call, and I have this wierd feeling he may not get the call ... but at the same time I understand that Miles would want to talk to Chavis first before offering a D-Line spot to Orgeron, so maybe this will all happen quickly tomorrow or Wednesday before Orgeron gets antsy and takes the Tenn job.

Make it happen, Les! Chavis + Orgeron = another SEC Championship very soon (as soon as Tebow graduates, lol)

I think retaining Mallory undermines the effectiveness of any other changes.

I go to their site off and on. Kwjibo, their mod, usually has good info on what is going down there. As we know, this coaching search stuff can change quickly.

IF we offer Coach O, I think he will be at LSU. The problem is going to be the timing in my opinion.

Sounds like a UT offer is waiting.

So we better get moving.

Bebe would own Louisiana. Never again would LSU lose a RR or Joe McKnight.

Agreed, but it is not as if Lane hasn't brought results to the program, especially with what he has done in recruiting. If it is a Lane or O choice though, not sure how you can justify Lane's DL production this year over having coach Os DL experience and recruiting ability.
