to compare saban at bama first year and LK at LSU first year in the era of NIL is just silly. Saban had no time to build his program through recruiting, while LK bought 90% of the team he wanted

LSU is talented enough to beat everyone else on its schedule but we are learning that expensive portals and talent don’t mean as much as we thought. If this season gets away and we end up losing five games, I can see us turning down a bowl invite and other stuoid scenarios.
Also the closest thing to a superstar we have on offense is Leavitt. That’s it. DJ is great. Seaton is good. Watkins and Harris are good. No superstars with 7 out.

Yeah, I do want you to keep going. Time of possession and drive summaries say you're absolutely full of it. Then again, I guess Kentucky just missed those field goals because , after they got the ball IN FIELD GOAL RANGE, they just.. magically were on 4th down each time.
Ok…time of possession was heavily influenced by the LSU offense driving up and down the field methodically in the first half….LSU defense was never on the field…giving up a 70 yard run on a bad fit…stupid design on defense forced a linebacker out of position and Kentucky ran for 11 yards on 3rd and 10…that was middle-school stuff…didn’t twist enough up front….terrible drop zone coverage and terrible accounting for the TE’s all game…they ran the same play 3x in a row and we couldn’t stop it….more?

Out coached by Joe Sloan. That’s pathetic.

Weeks and Spears were very important parts of this defense.

Don’t disagree…but injuries happen…Keys has been a bigger downgrade than I thought he would be…not terrible but not at Weeks level at all

Jhase Thomas has been better than spears so that’s a wash

No, not even close. Bama beat Kentucky 45-17 on the road. Did you watch Bama and Georgia? Those are playoff caliber teams. Unless things change massively Bama will skull drag us. Texas and Tennessee could easily beat us and the rest are coin flips. That’s the cold hard truth at this moment.

The simple things, like properly using the quote button. Thanks for making my point. Clown.

Any tard that plays Madden will tell you that going 5 wide on a 2PT conversion is asking for a QB draw or inside jet.

The butterfly effect here is so maddening though - if Spears doesn’t go down I’m convinced we don’t give up the end-of-half TD to OM. Additionally, Thomas is the guy who accidentally but somewhat recklessly injured Whit.
All of this started on a 10-yard run where Woodland failed to set the edge. One unremarkable play that is likely the difference between 2 losses and none.

This is why the Philip Wright injury was frustrating & why the Easton Royal situation is aggravating. Green is game changer. Wright was showing explosive play potential. Royal would provide that then some.
