Because that bullshite, gimmicky, offense won't work against a good, fast defense. You don't have the horses to line up and run the ball between the tackles. You have to rely on speed to get to the edges, and LSU has the speed to slow Devine down before he there. Plus Death Valley is not Morgantown. Yes, you guys have rabid fans, but LSU's fans make WVU's fans look like Mother Theresa.
Actually, Rich Rod took that bullshite, gimicky offense to Ann Arbor a few years ago. I think you'll be surprised when WVU does line up and run between the tackles, but I agree that WVU's backs are going to have to get north/south in a hurry and not get to dancing, sidestepping, and running east/west.

I hope this is a joke. But I'll play along.
You don't have to believe it. Believe that WV will beat lsu. Then when you get your arse handed to you saturday night, you can sit there with an open mouth look of shock expression and i got something for it. lol

we have had no problems running through the tackles Devine has busted some big run running b/w the tackles

bullshite, gimmicky offense??? First its Defense now its Offens. Wow, you must just be mad and is just spewing out the most BS you can put out in one retarded arse sentence.
Newsflash: We run the I-form too and a lot other formations, and oh, yeah many of them are between the tackles.
Death Valley is not Morgantown and Morgantown is not Death Valley, wow good comparison

I find it ironic that we're arguing who has the most rabid fans...I figure that after this little 2 game series, we'll all be the best of friends.

The Big East should not even be a BCS Conference...period. I love when fans of teams like this come on here and talk shite. You have no chance, and I'm being honest. You haven't seen a defense like this in a long, long time. You might score a few points, maybe even 14-17...but lsu wins this game by at least 18 points and probably more. You will be out of the polls...but hey, you still have a great shot at winning the Big Least.

People without anything to actually contribute make statements like "Death Valley isn't Morgantown and Morgantown isn't Death Valley". Wow, aren't you captain obvious.
The reason behind Death Valley being a factor is that it can reach up to 120 dB standing on the field. That's the equivalent of a jet engine. Offenses regularly have to resort to using hand signals because they can't hear the man standing next to him. Your quarterback, Geno Smith, a freshman, has never played in such a hostile environment. Expect there to be at least 2 or 3 delay of game calls and blown plays.

It can, in previous years it has... Hasn't been that loud this year, I was at some of the last few home games.
And Smith isn't a freshman... if you aren't going to have the right facts, why even post?

there's been 1 home game, against MS State
Did you attend?
If so, you'd have noticed that we scared Chris Relf and Tyler Russell shitless into 5 interceptions.

I'm not discrediting the effect of Tiger Stadium on opposing teams, but WVU won't have to resort to using hand signals because we've been calling in plays with hand signals for nearly 10 years.

Haha, go ahead and chalk that up for the crowd, not your Defense.. I'm glad you did that..

I'll be back after the game....
when you come back after the game, will you PLEASE change the "my" to "me" in the subject line of this thread????
unless, of course, it's just that you left out the "stupid arse" part after the "my"....

The crowd will be loud if its a close game.
Having said that, the crowd won't be loud on Saturday.

I was about to ask...but you beat me to it. I was curious how loud the crowd gets when OOC teams jump up to an early two TD lead.

Don't need to worry about that since that scenario won't play out....
Posted on 9/21/10 at 11:56 am to InkedUpEER
Inked, we dont know the answer to that question, because it's never happened.
Why don't you just ask "what shade of red did the sky turn on that day the sky wasn't blue?"

Keep dreaming. I know we are not on the level of Marshall but we are decent.

I think we'll be okay in that department.
