This is not the case. Either your app is malfunctioning or you were trying to watch some not on SECN+. This is possible since SECN+ is an alternate channel. So unless they have an overflow of programming, there might not have been anything available to watch on SECN+. I would try logging out and logging back in. Maybe delete and redownload the app.

I have YouTube TV and was able to pull up the On-Demand videos from the Florida and Oklahoma games from last weekend that aired on SEC Network+ on the ESPN app.

Yes. I believe it just rolls theme music and a logo pattern any time a game isn’t on.

Yep they decided La Tech vs LSU was such a big instate rivalry game it was better to go there than Michigan at Oklahoma.

That's not SECN+, that's the SECN alternate channel. The alternate channel is a typical TV station that shows graphics 99% of the time except when it's showing a game. SECN+ is streaming only.

It’s a pirated signal, but I’ve never had a problem going this route. I’ve viewed a lot of baseball games that way, and I think I remember having to do this for a football game or two last year.

It was a volleyball match between a sec school and big 12 school and it said secn+.
I have used secn+ many times for baseball with no issues.

SECN+ and ESPN+ are not the same thing. If he is able to get the SEC Network, then there is no reason for him to get ESPN+ like you are suggesting. You are telling him to buy ESPN+ when he might not need it.

If you have access to the SEC Network, you have access to SECN+. That’s the point. If you have the SEC Network, there is no reason to get ESPN+ to watch this game.
