Not directly applicable but I was in the Notre Dame band and went to last years March madness with the team. They put all of us up in the embassy in San Diego. I only say this because it might just be a thing that sports teams do tend towards embassy suites

Hilton is where Ole miss stayed last year. It's also where we stayed. Very awesome atmosphere after the games with players hanging out with their fans in the lobby. Great location. Everything walkable
