He has been absolutely killing it. Finished tonight’s game with 22 points, 10 boards, 3 assists, 2 steals and blocks on 9/16 from the field and 2/3 from deep.

Nah. He just did what other coaches do, but was a bit more hands on. Also, he mistimed his aggressive recruiting by 2 years. Now you can do whatever you want to recruit a player. I don’t hold anything against him. Dude loved LSU and he was trying to win. He micromanaged a bit bc we didn’t have a good recruiting system in place. That part is not really his fault. He just got unlucky and he was made an example of because he dared to threaten the hierarchy in college basketball.

He’s a moron that was properly fired. Timing sucked, sure, but there’s no debating that he should have been gone.
I’m excited for Matt McMahon. He appears to be the recruiter Will Wade was, but also a better game coach.
