Is this just a yearly reality?

Key Defensive players missing the TAMU game for a variety of reasons... Injuries, healing up for playoffs, shutting it down for NFL prep, etc/whatever...

Last year, I think 7 or 8 of the normal 11 starters were not on the field for part or much of the TAMU game.

Will Delpit be healed enough to play him both against TAMU and UGA?

Of course the Divinity absence.

Anyone else?

Those 2 are far from trivial absences from our best 11.

It won’t matter.

They are cruising for a bruisin.

And Coach O is their cruise director, Captain Bruisin.

You hold out Delpit if possible for the SEC Championship game.

As bad as he looked running last week, he probably needs another week off.

I'd prefer to hold Delpit out as well.

He still seems like too much of a liability.

Unless he is fully healed.

I would dress Delpit and only use him in an emergency if Hampton is getting abused in coverage.

With our defense, we'll need to score at least 40 points to beat A&M. They've only lost to good teams this year and played Georgia down to the wire.

They've also beaten only bad teams and were taken to the wire by Arkansas (2-9) and Ole Miss (4-7). Texas A&M is not good. They have a pretty good defense, but they do not have the horses to stop our offense, nor do they have the ability to keep up with it when they have the ball. Add to it, there is a 0% chance we look ahead and come out flat given what happened last year. I firmly believe we blow them out.

I agree that we will need to put up points up on Georgia (unless our defense can shut down the run). But Georgia's play during the game was a great big meh.

Not true. There is no guarantee that we make the playoffs unless we win the SECCG. We should have everybody back for the A&M game except Divinity and maybe Delpit if they decide to hold him out.

No way Delpit is shutting it down his numbers aren’t as good as predicted.

You have to understand Ankle injuries are super tricky, so much torque in them it is easy to re-sprain them if. It fully healed going in.

Mond can be very good if he has time, and we aren’t getting much of a pass rush these days. This game will be close throughout.

Agreed Delpit should be an emergency only player.

We need to let them score a little so we can keep the starting O in all game and put up 75
