Did ya’ll see we offered a Wideout transfer from North Texas? I don’t know how y’all feel, but that ain’t going to cut it!

Who else offered? That will tell you more than "North Texas."

IF there's something we know, it's that this staff doesn't know what WR talent looks like.....

Who cares what school they're coming from? Not all great players come from big schools. We did well with a QB from the shitty program of Arizona State.

Meaning? Fournettes younger brother didn’t pan out so well. Shaqs son didn’t offer much. The younger Clausen wasn’t much. Thad Moss was serviceable. Jordan Jefferson was terrible.

I remember them offering some kid out of high school who was barely a 3-star at WR. Just because his two older brothers played at LSU was all I could figure.

What don't you like about him?

North Texas was top 10 in Total Offense and Maclin tied for 5th in the nation with 11 receiving TDs.

maybe a way to thing about things when saying North Texas kid can't be good enough for us is; Was he a little undersized originally out of HS, caught a growth spurt, picked up size and speed and now is ready??

or

was he injured out of HS and now two years later he has fully healed and can contribute at a higher level on a bigger stage.

or

wasn't mentally ready at the time and their were better offers for people his age to that took spots and now he has matured and is ready,

Soooo many things to consider rather than just North Texas, that aint going to cut it for us.

Yeah, we should have passed on him, same with Garrett Temple and Aaron Nola.

Did you know a transfer from Division II Truman State just lead the SEC in rushing?

And he wasn't even recruited to Mizzou. He was a walk-on transfer.
