I gotta say, as painful as it was to lose and then struggle early in the second game, it made the finish that much sweeter.
Would have kinda been boring if we’d steamrolled.

Baseball is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are going to get

I wish they would reseed after the SR.

You make entirely too much sense for this locale

My favorite thing of several Jay said he planned out was batting Brown with the speed ahead of Bear. The thinking was they would likely throw a few in the dirt because bear swings at those.
And it happened and Brown took 2nd on a steal. He did score also. The dude is way ahead of anyone on here with that attention to detail.

His choice for pitching on Sunday was questionable.

We're all relieved that LSU is moving on. We can relax knowing that. I don't think any of those other teams were losing games to teams with losing records. That was the difference with LSU's struggle this weekend, and the hitting issues are a continuation of a trend that isn't new.
Is it alright if some of us take note of that, or do we all get lumped in as "haters"?

That's baseball.
An incredibly frustrating sport to watch that relies more on superior skills than brute strength or athleticism to be successful.
Almost as frustrating as golf or bowling.

This is what is so laughable. These people actually think Jay and his boatload of coach's, analysts and unpaid intern ball players haven't thought of every scenario, game approach, how the hitting and pitching is going, etc.
He’s still accountable for how his team shows up and plays games. Hitting has been a big issue past few weeks.

There is so much talent in baseball nowadays. These kids are playing travel ball year around. There’s the same amount of colleges as there were 20-30 years ago, and the best talent still goes to those schools. However, there’s more really good talent that goes to these lower level schools making them much more competitive than even before, and they continue to develop at these schools. The talent gap is not as wide as it used to be.
Some people hate travel ball, but it sure has made for more parity in college baseball.

I think it does! I believe this is exactly the reason the perennial power houses were sent home from their own regional last week. I believe with NIL and the portal we’re seeing more “teams” full of mercenaries for hire. The true team aspect is being eroded and I believe it showed up big time last week!

The people you’re talking to have no perspective outside of expecting LSU to win every game by a lot. They certainly don’t follow college baseball on a national level to see other teams and their struggles or imperfections. It’s obvious by their posts.
But I agree with your message and the spirit of your message completely
Been saying this for a long time. Glad people are starting to catch on
The majority of LSU fans only watch LSU baseball games then pretend to know what’s going on on the national level. It’s crazy. They have zero perspective

holier than thou are you
Also, thanks for letting us know that there were some teams that didn't win their Regional. I wasn't keeping up with it.

This board is full of the self-righteous since Monday night. People hide in the shadows waiting for the right moment to say that everyone was wrong, and how they have such wisdom and perspective.
It's one thing to have perspective in the sense that we must always remember that these are games, not not be ugly with the things we say. But they think people lack perspective simply by having higher expectations for this program. They would have us lower our expectations by comparing the failures of other teams to validate whatever LSU does.

ahhh, so people should have just shut up and accepted the beatdown by Auburn. Got ya

Quite a few of us simply said move him down. And funny enough, that's just what happened. But we're all a bunch of idiots, so I guess Jay must have made a dumb decision to move him down.
