I was told by a friend that the “free lot” west of the golf course and across Gourier from Alec Box will be a paid parking lot this season.
Has anyone else heard this?

I think it was paid last season as the first year.

Yea not sure anything within walking distance of the stadium will be free any more.

The gravel RV lot behind Tiger Park looks like they doing construction there this year as well.

Just so you know, LSU is charging to meet the team on fan day this year. LSu was the last school with free parking and that is probably being phased out.

No, we parked in the lot that I’m referring to all year last year and it was free.

Old Front nine 3 was free last year but not this year.

Yep. There was talk last year of it being paid but it was free all season.
I parked there all home games except one due to the tailgate we had in TD village being moved to Alex Box Lot.

They gonna get that money however they can.

Yes. I doubt that changes anytime soon.

Last year, even on the driest weeks the cops typically shut down the Levee South lot when it was about half full. No clue why they do that but they do.

The Gourrier South lot is one of the biggest clusters you’ll ever see. Despite basically having one off duty cop for every 5 cars in the lot, they just park cars wherever. It’s not unusual to get to your vehicle and have to wait for other cars to move before you can get out of your parking spot.
