Any baws on here that will be setup or have some scoop on where some tailgating will be? I'm not interested in bar hopping and never been to superdome. Will be staying at the hyatt next to dome and any info is helpful. thanks ahead of time and I'm appreciative.

The spot we tailgated for the natty has something built on it now.

There will be stuff in the parking lots around the Hyatt I am sure.

If you are staying at the Hyatt then just go next door to Champions Square.

I’m not sure when the last time you were near the Hyatt, but the parking lots are now all high rise condos.

It’s New Orleans won’t have to look to hard

I'd be more worried if it was A&M coming to town for Monkeypox.

Nah I don’t feel like being shot. The only time I plan on walking around, is when I’m walking from my truck to the dome, and then back to my truck once the game is over. No need for unnecessary risks.

I heard the 9th Ward is always popping off

Superdome tailgating scene sucks. I’d say just tailgate at your spot outside Tiger Stadium then drive on down to the superdome

Hyatt right next to Dome with champions square in between. Stay in those places there will be plenty going on without venturing away. Safer, too. Thugs hang out on side streets so you will be fine.

Good luck not getting car jacked and/or killed.

In New Orleans your best bet would be to tailgate in the French Quarter and the walk (20 minutes) or uber to the dome. This is what we did for the National Championship in 2019 and it was a blast.

Meh. There are plenty of bars in the Warehouse District and within a very short walk to the dome. No reason to need to hang in the quarter

Some of the usual big tailgates will be in this parking lot. I imagine the top floors of parking garages and the lot on the other side of the Smoothie King will be packed with tailgates as well.

We did that same walk for the Natty. It's almost exactly a 1 mile walk from the Poydras Side of Dome to Bourbon@Iberville. Not bad at all in January.
But I wouldn't want to make that walk at 2pm in September. Swamp arse before the game would suck.
