Decided to get tickets to see us beat A&M. Never been to A&M before. Where do LSU fans usually tailgate when there?

TIA

Yep. Just pick any pristine section of grass and set up camp. They will welcome you with open arms.

Crowd is not loud. Most overrated home field advantage. People tailgate all around campus. It’s not rowdy at l, pretty boring and lame. We just hang at Northgate now and walk over.

I haven’t been to a game since the 2018 debacle, Rebels at Northgate has been the designated LSU bar in the past. I think one of the owners is an alum. There will be tons of Tiger fans at the game, and many LSU tailgates. I’ve always been tailgated with a few Aggies (no homo) due west of the stadium (around Reed Arena), but remember seeing a congregation of LSU tents a lot on the east side of the stadium. I think they’re renovating something on the south side, so could effect where they let tailgaters set up. The large majority of Aggies are a good hang, they’re friendly and they don’t talk trash like their posters on here.

They only yell when instructed. Student section is 20-20 on the visitor bench side. It is by far the strangest atmosphere I’ve ever encountered at a sporting event.
Don’t know the rules for tailgating but it is low key, quiet and just plain eerie.
Went once, never again.

Find a bar you like close by or just tailgate with Aggie folk. Most of them are happy to host non-obnoxious people

Make sure you go and get your monkeypox vaccine tomorrow, at the Out of the Box LGBTQ Center. I wouldn’t want to be in College Station without it.

Recommend non-LSU section tickets. It’s a hike.

Tailgating is just OK but plenty of space to set up.

Remember to take your caps off when walking in to their hallowed student union ??

We parked by the George Bush Library and just hung around campus.
Campus was very clean and the people were extremely friendly but the atmosphere was calm and quiet. After a while I kind of missed being taunted and trash talked to.
Great experience as long as we win the game.

I do think we are used to how SEC fan bases namely Bama and Florida treat us on the road. As do we treat them when they visit us.

That’s not normal with places like A&M and OU. Their fans who attend games take pride in being hospitable.
LSU fans are hospitable of course but we love to give people a hard time at first with tiger bait and other taunts. Once we figure out that you don’t have thin skin and aren’t a prick, we’re all good. ask any visiting fan which fan base is the most fun to party with. Guarantee 9/10 say its LSU.
