re: Tailgaters that don’t go in the game

A cousin of mine has (I think) four season tix. I saw him at the UCLA game year before last when I stopped by his tailgate to visit and catch up with him. He told me he had quit going into games and just lets his sons and their friends use the tickets because he’s gotten to where he really just enjoys hanging at the tailgate, drinking, and cooking for everyone then watching the game from there. He had recently lost his wife and forever game partner to cancer so I’m sure that has something to do with it.
