Can he? Yes
But you asked will he...that is tougher to answer. LSU has talent and will continue to have the talent coming in to win and get there.

Look how close they came to winning this game with all the mistakes (plus the mistakes and momentum killers last game) and that would have been a trip to Omaha.

So I'm going to say True with the right breaks. That way I can always enjoy the games and be pleasantly surprised to exceed expectations.

Les Miles of Baseball..peaked early at LSU..then won plenty the rest of the way..just not Nattys..lost latter era Natty vs SEC rival..lacked offensive punch in last yrs at helm..hardheaded repeating of same team faults/modus operandi yr after yr.

Bertman in Reverse..geeks em up for Hoover but not Omaha..Stanley's teams played their best ball in BR Regionals and Omaha.

Skip in the stands tonight shaking his head at all the mistakes.

We win the midweek games we have about 50 wins. Maybe NO injuries to our pitching staff next year with P. Phillips coming in maybe we do get back to Omaha.

False, I've commented about this before and I think he and Miles' careers will take the same path. Good coaches that got a championship early in their career at LSU and had good records but never won a championship again.

His teams used to jut be small. Now they’re small, undisciplined and they can’t keep pitchers healthy.

He couldn’t even make it to Omaha with this team.
