I'm reading the book Meat Market about Ole Miss recruiting under Orgeron, and I just read about a prospect named T Bob Hebert getting embarassed at an Ole Miss football camp because he's too small and gets tossed aroud by D linemen. This sounds familiar.

Amen to that. And it wasn't that rational to begin with.

At 17. Now he's 20 and 40 solid pounds heavier. Have you noticed there's not often any rush up the middle on passing plays. His run-blocking needs improvement but his pass-blocking and center play or above-average already. He'll only get better.

Yet I see many gladly fill their scuba tanks to troll these waters.

Randy44, thank you for replying to the content of my post, unlike the other assholes who just have to say some condescending shite that they would never have the nerve to say in real life.

I don't disagree with what you said, I just find it ironic that Hebert's relatively small size caused concern as a hs prospect, and now he's part of a much criticized (for size) offensive line.

oh, so you were actually looking for conversation on this subject?

looked to me like you were just being one of these idiots that are looking for anyway to talk shite about this team.

yeah, you really came off looking like you wanted a discussion about this.

can you tell me who our center was last year?

Well, that's your interpretation. Your response wasn't exactly enlightened, you know. Practice what you apparently feel the need to preach. Or if that's too much for you, then maybe skip the commentary?

You quoted an book that highlighted an athlete's bad day at camp. Come on crying, implying that TBob is a weak link and thus may not be the best option for us. And then you get mad because someone says condescending shite to you?? So no one can say anything bad about you but you can say whatever you want about an athlete? Not sure how that logic works.

Wow. Just, wow.

First of all, I don't need to pass a quiz that you edited your post to add on so that I can have your permission to post.

Second, crawfishing? The point of the post was to stir debate. About Hebert, by the way, not about whether or not I should be able to say anything.

I made this point about a week ago, the last time I started a thread because I was stupid enough to think that I could bring up a subject and talk about that subject, not trade insults.

I'm not watching my first LSU game here, fellas. I am an LSU graduate, and I just wanted to talk about the offensive line. I'm sorry if I don't have 17,000 posts to give me credibility on this board. I have very few because this is the reception you get. Christ.

How is he crawfishing? He didnt really make any accusations, or specific comments. All he did was bring it up.

Then people jumped on him.

If youre upset with the topics people are starting lately, then dont get on the website, or get on and make your own great topics.

People on here just like to respond to posts by bitching, simply because they can, I think.

go back and read your first post. and tell me if you really think that was intended to stir debate. or if it was just an attempt to talk shite about one of our players.

a young player at that. who by the way is bigger than last years starting center.

and yet you come here talking about how small he is.

What would that matter?

If he doesnt he can simply look it up and say he did anyway.

Your first comment appeared to be a veiled put down of Hebert, then when someone challenged you on it, you backtracked to say that you were just pointing it out. If those weren't your intentions then apologies all around. You wouldn't be wrong in saying T-Bob has been pushed around at times this year, if you feel that way just come out and say it.

it matters because his whole "point" of this thread is how small T Bob is and how its embarrassing that he is our center. when T Bob is bigger than our last center. and only a soph on top of that.
