So would 99 out of 100 people who are not fans of either team.

The real question is could TBob prevent either from being sacked by a Bama defense.

That answer is a resounding "NO".

His show is a big waste of time! Any opinions expressed by him fit "George Carlin's a--hole" analogy perfectly.

How about, “Can T-Bob singlehandedly save the Tennessee game?” The answer to that, my friend, is YES!

In the context of the conversation, it was not necessary for him to say he would rather one QB over the other. He could have phrased it 100 different ways. He chose the way that would get him attention on twitter/message boards.

Well I don't listen to sports talk radio and OP provided no context, so I'm not sure how to respond to this, in that you didn't provide any context either.

Option 3? You're way too sensitive and he was just giving his opinion. An opinion which is really in no way actually controversial if you can take your P&G glasses off for maybe 30 seconds.

Around the same time LSU fans decided that former players are good at sports reporting simply because they're LSU alums.

I have no clue if he's good at sports reporting but giving an opinion that one would take Ehlinger over Burrow doesn't make one bad at sports reporting. Either way, I was under the impression that he is just a sports radio host and not an actual reporter. Pretty sure his job is just to talk about stuff other people report.

T Bob would have never played college ball at any level if it weren't for his dad

Lulz, now we're just making shite up.

He was offered by (at least according to 247) LSU, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Boston College, Ole Miss, Maryland and Vandy.

Most people think SE is better than JB.

Not Slinger and Brady. Tho fun coincidence.

If you just look at it dispassionately, probably would be the right call.

Borrow last year
Passing
219/379 57.8% 2894 Yds 7.6 YPA 16 TD 5 Int 133.2 Rating
Rushing
128 carries 399 Yds 3.1 YPC 7 TDs

Ehlinger last year
Passing
275/425 64.7% 3292 Yds 7.7 YPA 25TD 5 Int 146.8 Rating
Rushing
164 Carries 482 Yds 2.9 YPC 16 TDs

But screw that, give me Burrow

On a slightly more dispassionate note, again, Ehlinger played in 9 games and threw 275 passes prior to last season and spring practices so had timing and rhythm already established with the offensive personnel, many of which I assume are returned for 2018. Burrow took 3 or 4 games to get that established and he looked much better in the back 2/3rds of the season.

Burrow all day

Is there any evidence to date showing that Burrow is a better QB than Ehlinger?
Based on 2018 SE by a mile, 2019 JB by a mile, albeit with a minute sample size.

LOL. Good point.

I shouldn't knock the dude. He did beat Bama twice in his tenure as well. Good dude.

He's just doing his job now.

Not to mention I still love his pops, even though I'm not a Saints fan.

The fact that he feels that way but is still picking LSU to win makes me feel all giddy inside.

How many games did Ehlinger play prior to Georgia?
How many games did Burrow start?

No way you can make a comparison prior to the game, based on their experience.

There is no comparison in number of plays. Lets see after the game.

What?
