Mark or CuseFan, where are the best lots for visitor tailgating/the best tailgating areas that are easily accessible to parking lots?
I want to be able to break down quickly before the game.

I would look along Adams and Harrison Streets. These are streets that run east/west north of the Dome. Depending on kick off time...you might not be bothered for money until 3-4 hours before kickoff time.

The safest bet is to go up to Skytop...get there as early as you want. Set up and pay when they come around. RV's can park up there too. The downside is you have to take a shuttle to the Dome. It is bigger than just this lot my map points too...but if you arrive early I would park here. If the gate is unlocked...look where other folks are parking nearby and go there. Ask a Cuse fan. Remember Cuse fans normally start tailgating only 4 hours or so prior. Not sure how many hardcore will be there at 7am for a 3:30pm kick.

Parking Area

Don't bother asking SU about parking in the lots west of the stadium like CuseTiger suggested...they are all permit lots to donors.

Shuttle Bus Info...it is free
quote:

Bus Service Shuttle buses leave from the front of Skytop Office Building on South Campus, Manley North Side Parking Lot, and Manley South Side Parking Lot and drops off at College Place. During an event, the shuttle runs every 15 minutes from College Place back to the parking lots. At the conclusion of an event, all patrons should be directed to College Place. Football Shuttle buses leave from the front of Skytop Office Building, Manley North, & Manley South. Lots open 4 hours before kick-off. Shuttle service starts 30 minutes before Gates open. Shuttle buses Drop off at College Place. During an event, the shuttle runs every 15 minutes from College Place back to the parking lots. At the conclusion of an event, all Shuttle patrons should be directed to College Place via Gates E, N, or P.

That is a nice area. You are 10 mins from the Dome. An excellent Sports Bar called Tully's is a short walk. Get the Chicken Tenders...very good. Chicken Wings are good too. Tully's NOTE: Click on the Liverpool Location for the exact map.

Also, you are 5 mins from Heid's...the absolute best White Hot Coney around.

While I don't know about that restaurant, in syracuse there's mother's cupboard. They're home to the frittata challenge

"The Frittata Challenge at Mother’s Cupboard restaurant consists of six pounds of pepperoni, sausage, eggs, broccoli, onions, peppers and home fries."
