Wouldn't have happened if the game was played in Baton Rouge. This is why you don't schedule an irrelevant ACC team that does nothing for your program, and make the first of the two games on the road.

Ok...I'm done here. Try to be nice and I get my team insulted.

Sucks like hell. Then again, we're playing in yankee land.

Yankeeland has nothing to do with it...ABC/ESPN sets the gametime per contract.

The region you want is by S. Clinton and Fayette St. There's about 10/15 different bars in that area, Syracuse Suds, Kitty Hoyne's, Limerick Pub, Empire (my choice, not very many tv's but good beer), etc. Find one or bar hop and enjoy all of them

Saltine Warrior Pub downtown is a full fledged sports bar...kinda near Dinosaur BBQ.

Any of the Tully's around town are also good sports bars with excellent food.
Awesome website for interesting things to do throughout Upstate NY

Now is the time to start checking the better motels...there will be some cancellations.
Dinosaur...go real early...like 11am if late game.

18 Handicap...The Embassy is off Carrier Circle. The motel he linked was at the 7th North St. area. You are about 5 mins away.

That is a nice area. You are 10 mins from the Dome. An excellent Sports Bar called Tully's is a short walk. Get the Chicken Tenders...very good. Chicken Wings are good too. Tully's NOTE: Click on the Liverpool Location for the exact map.

Also, you are 5 mins from Heid's...the absolute best White Hot Coney around.

Heid's
Mark or CuseFan, where are the best lots for visitor tailgating/the best tailgating areas that are easily accessible to parking lots?
I want to be able to break down quickly before the game.

I would look along Adams and Harrison Streets. These are streets that run east/west north of the Dome. Depending on kick off time...you might not be bothered for money until 3-4 hours before kickoff time.

The safest bet is to go up to Skytop...get there as early as you want. Set up and pay when they come around. RV's can park up there too. The downside is you have to take a shuttle to the Dome. It is bigger than just this lot my map points too...but if you arrive early I would park here. If the gate is unlocked...look where other folks are parking nearby and go there. Ask a Cuse fan. Remember Cuse fans normally start tailgating only 4 hours or so prior. Not sure how many hardcore will be there at 7am for a 3:30pm kick.

Parking Area

Don't bother asking SU about parking in the lots west of the stadium like CuseTiger suggested...they are all permit lots to donors.

Shuttle Bus Info...it is free
quote:

Bus Service Shuttle buses leave from the front of Skytop Office Building on South Campus, Manley North Side Parking Lot, and Manley South Side Parking Lot and drops off at College Place. During an event, the shuttle runs every 15 minutes from College Place back to the parking lots. At the conclusion of an event, all patrons should be directed to College Place. Football Shuttle buses leave from the front of Skytop Office Building, Manley North, & Manley South. Lots open 4 hours before kick-off. Shuttle service starts 30 minutes before Gates open. Shuttle buses Drop off at College Place. During an event, the shuttle runs every 15 minutes from College Place back to the parking lots. At the conclusion of an event, all Shuttle patrons should be directed to College Place via Gates E, N, or P.

Yeah with the sports package it is around $27 total with tax here in Tejas
Folks desperate to find a motel...I have a few leads
Also...if anyone is a serious fisherman...you will be in the middle of the huge Salmon Run.

30 mins north is this place...probably the best spot to go if you want the least amount of hassle.

Cuse fan here...I only see one channel for Sling TV. You might not know the answer until the first weekend. BTW, the picture quality is very good. A rare occurrence the screen freezes and you have to reload. Sling TV allows you to do Watch ESPN which is key.
Ok my last post of offer to help...if you need some help on motels...ask. If not good luck.

What TV network has the rights to this game? Is it ABC being that the ACC team is home?

Yes...the home team controls the TV.

Best guess is 3:30pm EDT with an outside chance it will be Primetime on ABC.
Cuse fan here...fire away.

Hard to give advice unless I know what level motel you can tolerate...how far away you want to be...also do you plan to visit somewhere else? For example if you are seeing Cooperstown I'll suggest east and if you are seeing Niagara Falls I'll suggest west.

There are several Mom + Pop Motels while not luxurious are in safe areas and only 15 mins from the stadium.

BTW Niagara Falls is a minimum 2 hrs away...not 1 hour

that can't be right..seats in 125 and 128 are $55 and $60, respectively, while the 300's are in the $100+ range?

Some of the best seats are the lower 300s near midfield. Those are the highest preferred level. There are very few bad seats in the Dome. Generally stay away from 200 level seats unless you get Rows A thru E.
You can fly MSY to ROC on SWA for under $300.
