They can drink some beer but are not ready for the liquor drinkers.
On the morning show today they had someone on from Cuse who does the announcing. He also tried to say they wouldnt have any issues at all with alcohol.
They MAY (most likely not) be able to keep the beer coming but they will most certainly run out of liquor. We have too many examples of it happening for this to be a coincidence.

That place is going to be a trainwreck Sunday morning.

We heard this in Seattle, Dallas and Morgantown and once it was over, they didn't know what hit them.
Went to the Oregon game in Dallas a few years back. I stopped one of the beer vendors and tried to get a beer but he was out. He told me that he hadn't seen any group drink like that in Cowboy Stadium since some soccer match between 2 South American countries... and LSU fans drank more than they did.

The funniest part of all this is that, Cuse fans have taken LSU "drinking the town dry" as an affront. So I predict there will be a larger than normal turnout/consumption on the part of the Orange faithful to show us up.
The irony here is that the consumption of LSU fans, combined with the increased consumption of Cuse fans, will almost certainly cause some strain on local alcohol stocks.
All that said, I hope Cuse fans are aware they have to pace themselves. It takes some experience to start drinking at 8 a.m. and remain lucid throughout the day.

Yeah I think they misinterpret the meaning. If they attempt to "keep up" with our drinking it will only further prove the point that they werent ready.

Since when are Tiger fans lucid, at any time of day?

I don't know if I've ever been to a college town who didn't consider themselves to be the party capital of the world. I'm sure they exist but I haven't visited them.
I had friends at FSU who insisted Tallahassee rocked the universe. It didn't. But everyone thinks they are where it's at. From the hipsters in Austin to the coffee sippers in Seattle to the country boys in Bloomington, Indiana to kaki adoring dweebs in Oxford they all believe they're doing something no one else is doing.
Go to Syracuse and have good time.

I cannot wait for the Syracuse Fans to go to school for graduate level alcohol consumption. Preregistration will most likely start Thursday night at the Tiger Village at the RV park. Semester starts on Friday; Classes go from 8:00 AM to 12 noon. Final exam until about 4 PM and graduation (for those still conscious) at 5PM

What's going to be interesting is with a 12 noon kickoff their time, LSU fans will already have a good buzz going. Then, with beer being sold for 4 quarters & an anticipated blow out, LSU fans with nowhere else to go post game will stay in the stadium & keep drinking. And be loose on the streets around 4 pm or so. Leaving the rest of the evening for some hard stuff consumption. Could be scary around 7-8 pm. Yrs ago Colorado has a huge beer garden connected to a Hilton right by the stadium & LSU fans broke a 30 yr record, held by OU, of number of kegs sold by 45 kegs. The main bartender was almost literally in shock. Seattle, same story: the party boats crossing the lake all ran out of kegs....one way.
