Mett proved he could beat bama in 2012. Defense just let him down

The one that was good. But Mett was a statue so he still gets beat up in that game.

Etling and Mett yes. Mett has started in the NFL of course he could’ve and Etling is a lot better than Lee or JJ with The weapons on that team he could’ve too. We were beating top 5 teams with 26 yards passing both Mett and Etling would’ve been SEC poty candidates with that team.

I feel like 2012 Mett wasn't quite there yet, he had a good game against Bama that year but I think he would've gotten eaten alive against their 2011 defense.

We don’t win in Tuscaloosa without JJ. In fact, we probably get blown out. Lee completed 3 passes and threw 2 INTs before JJ came in. Where do you people come from?

Jennings and Harris were both worse than Jefferson, as impressive as that is. Jefferson was probably better than Etling too, but I'm not as confident giving it to him for sure there. Etling is definitely a lot less athletic than Jefferson and probably a worse passer too.

Not sure either, I've suppressed that memory. Well, Lee had gotten us to a No. 1 ranking and struggled against them. I'm not the only one who thought we didn't have a great chance of beating them with JJ in the rematch. At least bring Lee in the game (BCSNC) considering we were being totally dominated.
