Suspending Wade might help if any punishment from the NCAA might eventually be levied

People want to hate Alleva and King and say let this play out but I think we are doing the right thing. If the NCAA does anything we can come to them and say as soon as we found out about these allegations we distanced ourself from Wade. It’s called damage control. I’d rather that than to keep Wade on the bench right now find the allegations are true and then get the hammer on us by the NCAA.

NCAA has ZERO leverage in this investigation and they also aren't the ones conducting the investigation, so how TF can they levy punishment on things they didn't even investigate?!

Exactly. Most self- imposes don’t stop the ncaa they go way over. All you have to do is look at the Lester earl situation and where did he get to go? Kansas and who turned us in? Roy fricking Williams!
