I said he can say whatever he wants because he isn’t in danger of being fired. You said that’s not reality so I asked to clarify “so you think he’ll be fired if he loses to Clemson?” You do understand the difference between a question and a declarative statement right?

The whole “bulletin board” concept is stupid.
These kids get 12 regular season games. That’s it. 12 games to prove that they are fit for the NFL.
They spend all year making enormous sacrifices. They work out at levels that would make you and me puke. They eat diets that are strictly tailored and monitored and might also make you and me puke. They study film. Then they study more film.
All for 12 chances to showcase their talent.
If something someone says at a glorified pep rally details all of that work, then I don’t know what to say. Clemson will come out plenty motivated as it is. It’s the first game.
Of only 12 chances. Motivation enough.
