There was a reason why Kiffin was fired from USC.
Kiffin would be a cancer here where he would consider himself (at least) and equal to Orgeron.
Do not want.

Kiffin needs a task master like Saban to keep him under check. Not sure if he'll even respect O who used to work under him.

There's a reason that an NFL owner publicly called him a liar. How often have you heard an NFL owner say bad things publicly about a coach they are firing?

I don't want Kiffin. He needs a boss, not a friend. However, the guy who replaced o at USC is a decent OC as well.

considering USC chased this band out of town with pitchforks and torches, yeah i'd say it's a bad thing.

would you be held in check if your former subordinate was now your boss?

it'd be like the substitute teacher coming in for the week

this is my concern. Bring Applewhite if anyone. Sark wouldn't be a bad hire. Just 2 drunks on one staff could be a bad thing. O could cave into his demons.

I don't get why everyone thinks Kiffin would make a lateral move. IMHO he only leaves Bama for another shot at being HC
