Not complaining at all about cockiness; it usually goes with confidence which is a good thing to say the least in sports. I made the comment after seeing the second base pick off attempt when the Loiusville player started jawing at the Vandy SS.

We've got a very long way to go before worrying about these guys. It would be a killer matchup.

Vandy going to lose this. They look out of there element and very rattled.

in baseball, of course anything can happen on any given day, but this doesn't speak very well for the SEC if Louisville wins. Vandy, who won every conference series this year and swept seven out of 10 on the way to best SEC season ever, to get beat by Louisville...would raise some questions about the conference.

NCAA Super Regional update... b/c I can ... and it's brought to you by the hard stuff

NC State 0 - 2 Rice B6 = NCSU leads Raleigh Super Regional 1-0

Vandy 0 - 2 Louisville B5 = UL leads Nashville Super Regional 1-0

Virginia vs. Miss. St. 6:00PM = MSU leads Charlottesville Super Regional 1-0

Oregon St. vs. Kansas St. 9:00PM = KSU leads Corvallis Super Regional 1-0

North Carolina 0 - 8 USCe Final = Chapel Hill Super Regional tied 1-1, winner-to-CWS game tomorrow

Florida St. 6 - 11 Indiana Final = Indiana wins Tallahassee Super Regional, advances to CWS

Already Packed for Omaha:

I'd prefer Vandy. I know they are the 2nd best team in the country.

meh. State and SC are each a win away. 3 SEC teams in Omaha is more than enough to have respect. All it would do is reflect poorly on Vandy for gagging.

No it wouldn't. Stony Brook beat the SEC champs last season in their place and the SEC is still the best conference.

And if USC beat UNC? Questions get raised all the time. It's what fans/media do. Besides, I'm an LSU fan not an SEC fan.
