re: Sunshine Pumper POV: Being as charitable as possible to BK about the Nuss injury situation

I know. I never said he aggravated it during Ole Miss week. It has been extremely noticeable all season, not just during the Ole Miss game. They were holding him out of practices because of it. Hell, Brian Kelly himself literally said that they were limiting what he was doing in practice and that’s why they were limited in games. He said it was because they weren’t going to run plays that they had not been running in practice.
It honestly makes it worse. If this extra week off is going to really boost his health like BK is saying it will, it’s even more ridiculous that he didn’t sit out the SELA game. We might be 5-0 in that scenario.

BK isnt an idiot.
I disagree with this line of thinking. CBK is most assuredly an idiot. It’s obvious, and it is beyond dispute.

Tell the truth. You don’t want that to be the truth because you hate Kelly
That’s it. Stop right there

above. Im pissed he didnt sit him for la tech and sela
Let me get this straight, because I’ve seen a lot of people echo this same sentiment…
Yall wanted him to:
Play a week (Clemson)
Sit a week (La Tech)
Play a week (Florida)
Sit a week (SLU)
Play a week (Ole Miss)
Sit a week (bye)
Play a week?? (South Carolina)
???
Really? In what fricking fantasy football world does that make a lick of sense? In what universe have yall ever seen an injury handled this way?
It’s absolutely asinine that yall are okay with sharing this nonsense publicly
I know it’s the ‘in’ thing to do right now to rip on Kelly, and a lot of that is earned on his part… but suggestions like the one above just further illustrates my point that the majority of the slapdicks on this website should just let the professionals run the program
Can’t believe yall wanted him to alternate playing/not playing for over a month. That’s fricking great

Play MVP for la tech, and assess if he could take on the gameplan you wanted for florida/ nuss ability to throw it 40 yd down field. If mvp handled offense well against la tech, and nuss would get completely healed for ole miss, by taking off la tech, fl, and sela, 100% yea that should have been done. And if need to play him for florida, you at minimum sit him for la tech and sela, yes. Hes hurt... only way for that injury to heal property is take it easy.

If he’s got a torso strain, one off week isn’t going to heal it.

I think you are close to the truth in the matter. You are also correct about BK lying, not only us, but to himself, about this offense, especially is lack of urgency with the running game. If Nuss isn't right against SC in the first half, I expect to see MLB in the second half. But considering it is BK's decision, I fully expect him to make the wrong decision. He has earned that.

The injury definitely worsened.
He’s taken a couple of shots the the games that certainly didn’t help. I want to say he took one very early in the Ole Miss game (1st drive?).
