If he decides on Cincy, this is a bigger case of “no chest” than Gunnar Kiel or any other for that matter.
People say this but it isn’t necessarily true.
He had his family may look at both programs and realize, holy shite, Cincinnati is actually a better program right now than LSU.
Weather true or not, that will be the perception by a lot of people not emotionally attached to LSU

I get being upfront and honest. I believe you should be.
I am curious though. If this was Stidham, a guy who had more experience and was highly touted, would this staff guarantee him that he would be the starter? At any point does this staff guarantee that to a certain caliber player at this position of need?

He has one year to show the NFL what he can do. If he comes to LSU and sits, that’s one year. If he goes to Cincinnati to play and performs the way he believes he can, he will be gone after one year. He does not want to sit again. I don’t blame him.

Did they not find out LSU is located in Louisiana until this weekend? They obviously had some sort of interest in leaving Ohio or they never would have wasted their time visiting here to begin with.
I'm thinking morbid curiosity. Like looking at a traffic wreck or taking a vacation in a third world country.

And it sounds like Burrows and his family still think it’s a better option than LSU.
Let that sink in.

Laughable. The kid is shying away from competition if he goes to Cincy. But it’s his choice.
Posted on 5/13/18 at 12:36 pm to memphis tiger
Sure because they can go to his games a lot easier. Let that sink in my friend

Let what sink in? There are a million different factors that could be influencing his decision.

Cincy has an entrenched starter, if he goes there it’s not because he’s scared of the 3 headed cluster frick we have here. Please

I don’t really buy all this talk of Burrows and family demanding a guarantee of a starting spot.
His dad is a coach and certainly understands the value of competition and playing the best player. He would probably see through the BS of empty promises like a guaranteed starting spot.
If anything the only guarantee that they would ask for is a real opportunity to compete for the starting job and get it if earned. And at LSU, at QB, that should not be very hard. Especially if this kid as as good as advertised.
The only real explanation for choosing Cincinnati over LSU would be no faith in O or Ensminger.
