Review of Chavis - good DC except for the last couple of minutes in tight games.

ND in music city bowl
Clemson in chic fil a
Bama twice

I know i'm forgetting others.

Ole Miss in 2013
Georgia in 2013
Arkansas in 2010 (80 yd TD right before half and then another long score in 4th Qtr)

Stupid decision by Bo Wallace saved us from adding Ole Miss in 2014 to the list.

...and first halves. There were many times when I would have preferred LSU's D been in a 3rd and 2 situation rather than a 3rd and 9+ situation.

If a team needed a TD in the last minute of a game, they usually got it. You knew it was going to happen. A&M better get a lot of 4 &5 stars on D, b/c they are going to get torched. I know they think they got a ringer, but they'll find out quick.

Drexyl, just off the top of my head, Ole Miss last year in Oxford and Ole Miss again this year was clearly moving down the field easily and could have gottin into OT if Bo doesn't sling it against Freezus wishes. I know the second example is a stretch but you get the point, Johnny Reb Black Bears were having no problem moving down the field and this is not a sour grapes argument. Been saying this for a long time.

And if they needed a field goal, they'd get that, too. Sickening how many close, high stakes games we've lost the damn lead in. fricking sickening.

and don't forget if it wasn't for a lack of an offsides call late in the 4th quarter at Kyle Field, the Aggies would have probably beaten too this season.

Sorry FlyingTiger06, I must have overlooked your post but I was pointing out the same that you had already pointed out with regards to Ole Miss.

Talent will make any coach look good. We should be able to pressure the QB way more with the talent we have. I just hope the next guy can put pressure other than blitzing because that's the only time we ever get a sack.

No worries man. Just sad that we've given away so many victories and were damn close to giving up several more.

Aggies think it is just sour grapes on our part, but this is a UT columnist writing about it.

Look The last two minutes is hit and miss, When Bama beat us with no time left 2 years ago we were man to man all out pressure screen killed us, this time we did the opposite played off soft zone, it happens. When Saban was here and we lost in the bowl to Iowa (I think)EVERYBODY was mad he was aggressive in man to man coverage .You just can't win when it comes to the PUMPERS

Question to the OP. Would you trade Lou Tepper or Malaveto for "Third and Chavis"?

No chance in hell.

The issue is that we missed pretty much every time our defense was in that situation. We've listed the times our defense missed, care to show the times we really "hit" and our defense stoned the other team?

Would not have been a problem if Ronnie Prude hadn't blown that coverage and somehow thought he should play an underneath zone. Also, this:
