We have 13 players that haven't set foot on campus yet. 4 of our top 5 2018 recruits are included. Which players do you see as most interesting to watch/immediate impact guys?

Kelvin Joseph CB/S
JaMarr Chase WR
Jarell Cherry WDE
Chasen Hines OG/DT
Dare Rosenthal DT
Kenan Jones WR
Chris Curry RB
Damone Clark ILB
Cameron Wire OT
Jaray Jenkins WR
Nelson Jenkins DT
Dominic Livingston DT
Dantrieze Scott ATH/DE

Definitely Joseph, seeing how he makes the transition to corner.

Joseph and Curry. Both will need to play a lot.

I think he probably has the best shot at starting. He actually was a CB until his senior season and switched to safety due to his coaches wanting him to use his skills to make plays all over the field.

Kelvin Joseph. Because we need him to contribute now!

JaMarr Chase. The best route runner in our class

Dare Rosenthal. Just love his size and athletic ability

Chasen Hines. I think he will be a force at guard

Curry. I think he plays this year

He played corner his first two years in HS. Head coach moved him to safety because he has great range and no one would throw at him when he was a corner

I'd like to see if there's any hope of us having a stud in the backfield this year.

Jamarr Chase was on his way to becoming a five star (I think he was one according to one of the services).

He might be a guy like OBJ that comes in and jumps up the depth chart.

Curry is another guy that could change the complexion of the RB depth quickly

I know two skill guys is low hanging fruit but they could make a serious impact early.

I think Nelson Jenkins might push to get on DL depth chart, rest can probably redshirt

I would give Rosenthal a look at OT to see if he can help shore up that position, Hines can provide depth as well at G or get a look at C

Curry at RB
Chase can make an impact, if not as WR, somewhere
Joseph position of need for sure

JaMarr Chase is my sexy pick because i like his ability with size, speed, and hands. My second would be Dare Rosenthal i think he has the most potential at OT hopefully he looks at the depth chart and see that he has an opportunity to play right away or push for a starting spot.

Agreed, Joseph was considered a 5 Star as a corner before he was switched to safety right?

You somewhat have to go with the skilled players. It's much harder for lineman to come in and make a significant immediate impact.

My personal choice is Chase. We have seen Jefferson jump up the depth chart due to his route running ability, and that is one of Chase's strengths, along with his size and hands. Even with the crowded position group, I think he pushes for playing time.

There was a big buzz at The Opening with Chase. The talk was he was good as if not better than Marshall. If the current players don't step up he certainly will have a shot at jumping guys.

I also know the coaches were really excited about pulling Jarell Cherry from Dallas-Carter (big boy football). He very well could be another in the line of great OLB/DEs for LSU.

Some of his senior highlights:
