What's crazy is that Tennessee and Kentucky tie with three players each.

LSU has four. Three of which are in the top four.

We have underachieved in this sport.

Of course the Pistol is Number one. Big Baby TYFYS

Pretty Elite list for LSU. Hard to deny.

I’m confused about Baby at #15. I was a student who, from dumb luck, went to pretty much every game in that historic season and had no idea that when I was watching Baby that I was watching one of the best players in 50 years.... it’s hard to be convinced I was.

I remember it as a real good team. A clutch Mitchell, a freak Thomas, Tasmin, the whole bunch. I don’t know, is baby at 15 controversial or not?

It’s probably a stretch, but you could make a case for lots of guys. We played a methodical style. In the game nowadays Baby would probably average 20 and 12. I worked for the team when he and I were freshmen. A guy that’s 300 pounds isn’t supposed to move like that. This guy, in terms of size and skill, is in a league of his own.

6’9 285 who could shoot the 3, take ppl off the dribble, make acrobatic moves in the post.

Interesting list. Wonder what their criteria was. You could argue with great confidence that LSU should have the top 3. There's some out there that actually saw Jackson that might have him #2. He really was something special.
Think Corliss Williamson is underrated at 7. That guy and those Arkansas teams were so good. Ruston alum Scotty Thurman for the win.

I might take Rudy Macklin over Baby as far as over all program impact but Davis was a great player- no doubt.

LSU is around eighth ALL-TIME in signing McDonald's AA basketball players. Here is a little known secret around the country about LSU basketball: historically, it hasn't been a good/great player problem, it's been a mediocre coaching problem. Hopefully, we can hang on to the General long term, and enjoy the success.

I think the issue with LSU is they have had mega stars on the basketball court but only once was it all together. That would be when shaq and chris jackson were together. You are not winning a title without at least 2 or 3 guys that are really good to go along with that superstar. OF course coaching at LSU has not helped either. When Dale brown is the standard then that would explain never winning a title. Not saying he was a terrible coach but was never a x's and O's type of coach more of a motivator type.

UT had two top-ten guys playing together for three years and didn’t win a single postseason game.
