I dont really care about the closed practices, but believe it or not...the only reason LSU and Ed O plays football is because the fans support it. IF they were pissed off enough about closed practices i promise you they would be opened back up.

IDAF about media hurt feelings they are already to damn powerful when it comes to swaying simple minded people. The media perception will not mean two shits come September 2nd.

The only thing I care about from practice is injury reports. The rest is made up stats and motivational banter communicated through the media who know they are being used, but eat up anyway.

If the average fan (who could never attend practices anyway) thinks closing practice is a GOOD move, then this is A GREAT PR MOVE on Coach Eaux's part.
The media can be just as pissed as they want (the more, the better). They will still carry LSU games, show the LSU scores, give game summaries and boxscores. Screw them.
Bad to you maybe, but who the hell cares.

So Coach O saying a player needs to mature isn't good enough for you to understand why he may be down the depth chart?
But a reporter watching the team stretch and do jumping-jacks for 10 to 15 minutes is going to unload all this informative and truthful information about the LSU football program on you.
