i sat above the so called student section pit yesterday. a grand total of 31 students were there. why? --does it cost more to get in there? have the students given up on this team? are they just total bandwagoners?

Why don't you post this in the thread started taking about this same exact thing?

No need to clutter the board with the same threads over and over

Basketball team struggling. It was a beautiful day outside and there was a baseball game yesterday.

Combination of a lot of things.

I bet all of our baseball players and coaches would disagree with you. You are the same person that would be shitting bricks if the first game after wining a NC we only had 2K people in the stands for the baseball game. Ever think some people don't give two shits about basketball but live for baseball.

What is embarrassing is the basketball team being winless in SEC play. If they were playing good and no one was there than you may have an argument but they aren't.

Let's see. Midterms are coming up. I only really have enough time to make one game this weekend. Which do I choose?

Option #1: I can go to a game in the #2/#3-ranked defending National Champions LSU Tigers baseball team's season-opening series.

Option #2: I can go to a game for the unranked LSU Tigers basketball team. An in-conference game, play in which LSU is 0-12. 12-game losing streak.

Are you kidding me? I'll always support the Tigers but when it comes to how I spend my time, I have to make sacrifices to get to sporting events. Sorry if it makes me sound like a bandwagon fan, but I'm not going to make sacrifices to see this pretty pathetic basketball team play. And I like basketball, and I go to New Orleans to see Hornets games fairly often. The Hornets probably won't make the playoffs and they're not winning a championship this year, but you know what? Every single game they play in, I know there's a chance they can win it. The Tigers, not really so.

Wow, LSU fans sure are spoiled. The football team goes 8-5 and you think you're something special because you supported them?
