I sympathise with you, but you just cant expect there be a rule for every situation. If they change the rules for stuff like this, there will be a dozen more ammendments to the rules. My suggestion. Ticket marketplace.

I was on birth control when I got pregnant. I wasn't to get flamed for getting pregnant. I just wanted to express my opinion about a stupid rule.

So if you did get student tickets for this year, who would be watching your kid while you and your "husband" are funneling bourbon before the game? and during the game when you pass at in the 2nd quarter from being hammered? you arent getting student tickets because it would make you a bad parent. the end.

She screwed up. She doesn't say the rule isn't clear, only that she thinks it's a bullshite rule, as applied to her situation. Back off, cut her some slack, and offer to take her to a game or 2.
FWIW, I would be a lot more sympathetic if the timing it it was a little bit better. Like I said, rule blows in her case but the ball was dropped for waiting so long to get this straight.

Actually I don't drink at football games. I'm there to watch the game. My parents don't go to the games so they offered to keep my child for the games. And why do you have husband in quotes I am married.
My cousin received an email during the last part of June about the tickets and I called the ticket office the first week of July. The student government just called me back and said that there are hundreds adn hundreds of students having the same problem and only one guy is going through the email. So I'm not the only one this has happened to.

bullshite. Never even saw her username before. I just was a bit put off by the high testoterone content (or emulation thereof) of the responses.

Sorry you didn't get tickets and I can't believe you're getting flamed for getting knocked up.
No mercy for tickets and I think you would have expected that.

Make an appeal to Alleva. athletics@lsu.edu

Thank you and the girl at Student Government said that they do make exceptions and said that the exceptions are Family Emergency and Military Leave. She said that having a baby will fall under Family Emergency. She said that you have to have proof of the situation, b/c they want to make sure that it's not someone that failed out of the semester or just didn't attend. She also told me that this was the first year that you have to be a full-time student in the spring to get tickets.

Sorry about your troubles. But,you didn't honestly think you would find sympathy on this forum did you ?

if appealing to student gov/athletic dept. doesn't work..
it use to be pretty easy (2004ish) to get student tickets through some type of school organization / club. find out which ones have organizational seating and apply
..and congrats on your new baby

Condoms usually help out in a situation like this. That and birth control.
"Did you bring any condoms?"
"Ooooooooooo not really in to the whole condom thing sooo...."
Wine coolers + no condoms= baby and no tickets

I didn't know that you had to be drunk to have sex with your husband. We do it willingly and with birth control, but apparently the generic doesn't work

Its 99.9% effective. My .01% is now 8 years old.
