The band didn't arbitrarily decide to take them away...

I have to agree. The student section is a lot better than the rest of the stadium. And no I dont sit in the student section.

Dude the student section is easily the loudest section there is in the stadium. The "inconsistency" that you are talking about is from other parts in the stadium where people actually sit down the whole game

Haha. Ash Williams is a douche... Nobody hates you though cause noone knows who u are...

Or at least tell the old farts around you to get loud and quit rubbing their vagines.
I'm 22 years old and have sat in the front row of the student section for the last four years... so, there goes that theory.

Thats legit. I don't know who you think is sitting down during the game though cause I look around and everyone I see is into it. Tell you what lets both be on the lookout and if we see one beat the shite out of them... unless its a chick of course.

Section 201. When you're at the Tennessee game, look down into the stands in the late 3rd and then for the rest of the game. Trust me. You'll see it.

Nope, even if its a chick

I'd LOVE to see how the student section reacts when the team gets a 15-yard penalty because some dumbass lets the ball go onto the field.

Students are legit.
but the entire stadium on 3rd down made Geno Smith lineup behind his guard and Noel Devine had to tell him wtf he was doing.

This was funny. Student section has been good. Would be better with no wave and no beach balls.

this, whatever it is, warrents nothing at a sporting event other than "omg dude i started a wave".
Also the lets all bring beach balls and toss them up at a critical moment in the game needs to stop. You all look gay and uninterested in the obvious football game that you're in the stands for.
Oh and all the retarded add ons that were made to cheers post 2006 suck arse. The "woooooo" on the end of second down never happened prior to that. I call it the pussification of the students section.
Oh and dressing up in costumes that are completely unrelated to sports is lame as well.
you forgot
no drinking
no screaming
no jumping
no laughing
and most of all no having fun
Seriously though, the students can do whatever the frick they want, they are the soul of that stadium. I'm not a student anymore but you sound like an 80 year old "get off my lawn" type. I know you're probably in your 20's by the looks of your avitar, so you must just be a miserable person.

They can go to Chuck E. Cheese for that. When you're in the stadium, the point is to will your team to victory. Your own sense of well-being should come second to being loud and attentive. Nothing else matters except the W.

Is it terrible that I agree with this????
My son will be at LSU next year ... I'd love nothing more than to have him in that student section, and yes, he can dress up as whoever the hell he wants!

here's definitely a noticeable improvement in the red zone and third downs
I tend to think that has to do with the improvement of the defense, the student section hasn't changed much the last couple years

When I saw this being done on national TV, I was like: "Did a baseball game just break out? WTH?"
