Strongest Staff in LSU FB history?

Yea no doubt [that LSU's 2003 staff was amazing]. Different era though. Currently, this is one of the best and most experienced staffs out there. Easily the best staff in the SEC.

Well when you said strongest staff in LSU FB history, I thought you wanted us to consider other staffs throughout the history of LSU football. You just answered your own question as a no. You didn't ask if it was currently the best staff in the SEC.

Yes.

Saban wasn't as good at hiring staff when he was here and I think we all can agree that he put together one our best staffs.

On paper, CBK's staff is better than anything under Saban. Lets see how it translates to the players.

Yes. Did we know that Dumb, Muschump, and Bimbo were all successful when hired here? No. BK has hired successful assistants at prior stops.

Can we get through a season before this statement?
Besides, Saban’s staffs are going to be hard to beat and we had no idea how good they were until they were gone.

Would you like me to put an asterisk by it and say on paper? Bc I think that’s fair to say right now, that on paper they are one of if not the best.

The thing is, in the SEC you have to build a great staff and an equally great roster of players just to remain in the conference mix. This has to happen just to still be in contention for Atlanta come Thanksgiving.

Over the past several months, what LSU has done would likely win conference championships in 2022 in all the so-called power conferences. In the SEC it only allows you to be relevant.

Despite what ESPN talking heads would like us to believe, the SEC is so freaking dominant as to be playing a totally different game from the rest of college football.

03-04’ are legendary years. No one knew what they had at that time though.

I think LSUs Athletic Dept is in that position right now, the FB staff is certainly strong but they need to win something before I would put them in front of Saban/Fisher/Muschamp

BK has assembled the strongest staff in LSU FB history. The recruiters have been unbelievable so dar. The analyst are the most solid we’ve had ever. Next… BK needs more Gordons to help with NIL. In his short time here BK has built a juggernaut. How can you not be impressed?

That's funny!! It all looks great on paper but time will tell.
If he can't win a Natty he won't even surpass Coach O

I’m all on board with this and will remain so until and unless they lose a game.
