Except that the police haven't heard from Lael at all and he hasn't contacted them or anything like that since leaving Chicago and some teams have removed him from their draft boards...

I'm not saying he's involved either... But it is odd that he hasn't contacted or spoken to the police yet, considering that's the main reason why he left Chicago. The fastest way to clear his name is by talking to the police. And he left Chicago to do that... Yet he hasn't done it yet.

They want to question him in person. No real reason for him to contact them at this point. He's coming back to do what he needs to.

what? The whole reason he left Chicago was to speak with the police. And no I'm not saying he's dodging them... Just odd he hasnt spoken to them yet. If you want your name cleared the fastest way to do that is talk to the police.
