Bama has had the number one recruiting class like 8 or 9 years in a row. They have more talent, especially in the trenches. Not really debatable.

The results on the field are enough

Stop making excuses for the old man. His time has passed. Scott is beating the master at his own style.

We can start with combine results. Our players seem to test poorly in bench press results.

We get shoved around when we go against similar talent.

Agree, we always seem to lack upper body strength compared to the rest of the country. Moffitt always has our guys in great shape and we can run with anyone. We seem to lack physicality up front on both sides of the ball and have for some time. The bama’s and clemson’s of the world look different than we do up front. Not sure what they’re doing different in terms of training.

Moffit was the king but the student has become the teacher. I would tell him this year catch up with the times or your gone. I don't like saying that because I'm grateful for his work on the championship teams.

I do. We have been getting whooped in the trenches for years. It's obvious to everyone. Just read the rant

I believe there’s a plan in place for Viloria to take over at some point. That was part of the reason he left Florida state to come back here.

It’s all about recruiting. We aren’t recruiting big physical guys anymore

We recruit as well as anybody and yes even Bama

We recruit well overall, but we are talking about power, strength and weight lifting.

We do not recruit big men near as well as we recruit small men. Bama recruits better on the line than we do and that's where strength and power show up the most.

If you just look at Bama players, it’s pretty obvious what’s happening. They get top players, but after going through the Bama regiment, they come out all looking the same. Have you not noticed their linebackers year after year? They look like bricks but run fast as hell. Our guys on the other hand run the spectrum. We have our bricks that can run, but then we also have skinnier guys and bigger guys who are slow. It’s what you’d expect. Not like Bama, where they all come out looking the same. There’s something going on there. Maybe they just have this incredible strength and conditioning program or maybe they just know how to skirt the rules. Look at how many Bama players regress when they get to the NFL.

I’ve been saying this for two seasons now. It’s time for a change in that department.

we appreciate what he’s done for our players and all but this is a business. We need monsters in the trenches.

LSU should bring in Oregons strength coach. I heard hes the new breed and everything they do is related to a football move
