I don’t understand the infatuation with Urban.
Obviously he wins, but for crying out loud, at what cost?
He’s sleazy both professionally and personally. He’d be at LSU 3 years tops. Maybe LSU gets another natty in that time span but then what? His character flaws and poor judgment are more likely to leave a wake of disaster as he bounces to the next poor sucker of a program.
IMO, OSU was lucky he didn’t do something incredibly tainted, because that’s just who this man is.

No university worth their salt is going to touch Urban Meyer after that stunt. He doesn't need to come within 100 miles of the LSU campus, let alone become their football coach.

Urban was going to leave after getting beat in the 2009 SEC championship, but stayed one more year got headaches then quit

I've been screaming this since UCLA. Plus we can sell it to him by giving him the opportunity to make history by winning a natty at 3 schools. He would be the only coach to ever do that. And LSU will be much more appealing than USC to accomplish that in a shorter time span.
