This was the kinda competition I was looking for against FL. and GA. Great game. Again like posted before, a dropped pass here, a bad pass there, and we run away with this game. Proud to be a Tigah, will die being a Tigah.

EXTREMELY PROUD OF THE DEFENSE AND THE SPECIAL TEAMS, BUT THE OFFENCE NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT VERY CLOSELY. Love my TIGAHS, hell of a game.

Proud to be a Tiger! I also thought our defensive secondary finally put it all together and the defense played up to its talent expectations.
The offensive line and backs played their hearts out. JL has a lot of work to do and he played like his experience level showed. He had the whole team on his shoulders and gave what he could.
All in all Miles outplayed Saban and the Tigers outplayed the Tide. I don't believe in moral victories, we lost so how come I don't feel that bad?
The Tide left town knowing they escaped with a W and must have wondered what the outcome would have been with an experienced Tiger QB?
I AM proud of our Tigers! I wouldn't want to be the next 3 Tiger opponents!!

I usually get restless when the Tigers lose. Defense did great . Offense did at times. Not down on Lee, but I never seen one person make both teams look good and bad.

They played well, except a few plays. D played good.
You can't win it all every year.

This is such a great positive thread for the LSU TIGAHS!!! Shame on me for getting caught up in these negative posts and not paying attention to where it needs to be. Which is 100 percent support for my Tigers.
Hell of a game. The D was awsome and J. Lee gave it his best.
GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!

Tigers were the better team/ I feel very good about our talent and direction of the program. I can't imagine that our recruits weren't impressed with the team's play and our fans support.

Applause to the Damn Fine football team. They played their hearts out.

They were so freakin close to beating the #1 team in the country last night! As bad as many of you feel can you imagine how bad our players are feeling right now? They were fighting like hell and deserve our support. I also would like to give credit to all you fellow Tiger fans who helped make Death Valley what it was last night. My throat is killing me this morning!

MississippiLSUfan, it's posts like yours that truly make me proud and thankful to be an LSU fan. I too am extremely proud of our football team and I know that our team will be better down the road for having played their hearts out in the game.

Thanks Mississippi!
We do have a lot of youth on this team. Bama is young but with a very experienced quarterback. That's the difference for us this year. Bama is going to lose to Florida in the SEC championship game and it'll be an arse-kicking on the gumpsters.

I feel for our fans ,team ,and JL. He didnt ask to be thrown in this as a frosh. We will be ok next year with 3 talented QBs Sheppard, Jefferson, and yes Lee, they just need time. Although Lee , will replace Howard as blowing the most emotional reg season game in years.I hope it doesnt get in his head ,he deserved a couple of years before having to play in an emotional game like this. I hope he knows we understand.Last thanks again RP, you not only ruined your life ,you took a year away from a great LSU team.LSU will rebound quick , they just need a little experience at QB . Long live Les. Saban knows who played the best game ,as does his team and the bama fan base

Though we lost, I saw a lot of positives that have already been mentioned. The defense played well overall and special teams was decent. The running game did good. Of course Lee is HORRIBLE but thats another story. Bama gave us every opportunity to win and we couldn't capitalize. I'm just glad I got to witness such on awesome game. Good luck Bama, but I do not see how yall can get past Florida in Atlanta.

Thanks LAT. Also, thanks to all of the rest of you for your undying support for our boys. As has been said over and over again in this thread, these kids played their hearts out for their team, their families, and for us. Thay deserve our respect and support...especially now after such a heartbreaker.
They'll be back in the W column. They'll make more great plays. They'll make more mistakes while at the same time leaving everything that have to give out on that football field. This game was just one or two plays away from a huge celebration and was a great learning experience for them.
I can't even imagine how crazy it was in TS yesterday. The crowd came through both on TV and the radio. To everyone that was there, HATS OFF to you! I can't wait to get down there next week and hope for the same kind of atmosphere. I know that Troy isn't Alabama but they are a pretty solid team from what I've seen this year.
I just thought that there were plenty of threads criticizing several players, teams, and coaches and not nearly enough highlighting our players and our team's positive aspects and accomplishments. I knew that there were many Tiger fans that felt the same way.
I offer my humble appreciation to all of you for proving me right and I hope that some of these kids' friends and families read some of these responses today and they remember how we all, even the harsh critics, feel about them.
Our TIGAHS have nothing to hang their heads about. You all saw what they did and how they did it.
The future is bright.
