Still don't understand why Jacoby Stevens isn't playing...

This guy undoubtedly has 5-star talent. Seems strange that 20 freshmen are playing, but he's not. The Redshirt has already been burned. Can he only play the same position that Delpit is playing (and very well)? Can he not play the other safety position? I don't get it.

could be because Battle, Monroe, and maybe even Harris are a head of him on the depth chart at this point in time. He is a true freshman so give it some time.

so you think a coach should play a player because of his high school success over a player that earned his spot by success in college?
I Stevens is as good as you say, we will play. the cream rises to the top (although it sometimes takes a year or two).

It was the kid/his father’s wishes to do the moving around. He wants to be on the field right now, but Delpit is better. It is what it is.
We have tons of studs at safety.

They mean very very little and for some reason, our fans can’t comprehend that.
There are some 5* who are graded that way because of potential, and some 5* who are ready to compete at the college level immediately. See the numerous LSU 5* that have done bumpkiss and been passed by 3* and 4*.

Great talent and has not settled into a position due to the fact he has been moved around from defense then to offense and now back to defense.
Hope the kid stays with the program, he will be a valuable Tiger soon
