If we can go at least 4-3 in our first 7 SEC games, we'll finish no worse than 12-6 in the SEC and be a 6 or 7 seed or maybe higher.

It’s fun watching all the keyboard badasses respond.
My point was really questioning what we did to drop from a 3 to 4 seed in his mind after the last week.
Won a neutral court game against a top 100 team and blew out a Q4 team.
I get that we don’t have many quality wins ( outside of Belmont and WF), but we sure as hell shouldn’t have dropped.

It's purely speculative of course and "over-perforiming" a seeding is certainly very relative - but two cases in particular I thought we got hosed....last year when we should absolutely have been at worst a 7 seed and the same thing in 2009 when we won the SEC outright by 3 games and were on the 8-9 line as well we won our first round games and had to play a 1-seed.
2009 in particular we beat a very good Butler team and we gave UNC their toughest test of the whole tournament. I would say we over-performed our seeding that year for sure.
Last year debatable on that front - I don't think the refs helped but nobody but LSU fans gonna care about that.

It probably more about Tennessee beating Arizona to take over the 3 line more than LSU did or didn’t do.
