Bonehead playcall by Mullen and decision by Franks.

Yep, boneheaded indeed, BUT to be clear, I do believe in throwing the football late in the 4th TO PUT A GAME OUT OF REACH. The difference is I do not condone a high risk call and route like that one (towards the middle in all that dang traffic).

I like being being aggressive to put the game away. But Miami offense couldn't move the ball at all and was getting stifled almost every play as the 4th quarter winded down (until FL's stupid pass INT calls that came later).

So I play it safe and just start milking clock. No turnovers. No penalties. DL keeps dominating when Miami gets the ball back. Cruise control. Maybe consider play action on second down if they're selling out to stop the run, but that's it.

Although sloppier than shite, it was an entertaining game. I felt dirty rooting for Miami.

The best part about Spurrier's reaction was you couldn't tell if it was in response to Franks' terrible interception or to Mullen's decision to go ahead and throw when he was up by 4 points with 4 minutes left. Actually, I think Spurrier's reaction was to both of them. Ha!

That game was extremely hard to watch for most of the night.

Gaytors "out-thuggd" the U...and the latter couldn't move ball with no defense in front of them....two jokes that may win 6 games....sad display

The instant after Florida picked up a turnover up 4 points with like 3-4 minutes left in the game and IMMEDIATELY throws the ball into triple coverage, with predictable results. They cut to Spurrier instantly and that was his reaction.

Spurrier is like tebow to me. Hated the guy when we played against them but after my bias was removed I love the guy.

.....any chance we could convince Spurrier to come out of retirement and coach LSU?
