Yup

I really like Steve E and you can see he’s worked his arse off, but the man needs some new ideas. Innovative ideas. He needs help.

Briles, Yurich or Freeze as “co-OCs” with Ensminger

This is the millionth thread about Ensminger. I'm a huge fan but he needs help with being an OC. We have yet to even score against Bama with him as an OC.

I'm not trying to drag his name through the mud at all, the guy is a Tiger, always will be. He needs help though.

We'll see if O makes any adjustments after the bowl game.

E pulled out the Motherfricking playbook in overtime against Texas A&M. I was like where the frick was this shite all year.

I agree I like E but we need a new offensive coordinator we just need consistency. When we play inferior teams and we play not too lose just kills me.

Agreed. I don't want him fired but either A. Bring in someone who can help him, someone who has been a successful OC or B. Let him go back to coaching the Tight ends and bring in a new OC all together. But a successful one. O did that with Canada and for whatever reason that didn't work out. I'll save my own opinion on that matter but it's pretty obvious that there needs to be some tweaks made. Like you said, where was that playbook all year? We played down to them and then got in a hole, like the Arkansas game and it finally came back to bite us. It never should've gotten to OT.

It's nuts. I hate that trend and we've done it for so long. Play down to the opponents.

See the Troy game, the Southeastern game this year, the La. Tech game this year, etc.

There's no consistency, aside from playing down to our opponents. Why we do that is beyond me. Maybe it's because you don't want to risk injury but geez, if I, who has never played a down of football in my life, know we should win just on talent alone, why it always seems to be so conservative and little adjustments are made until we get into a hole (see the Arkansas game this year) is beyond me.

Yep good teams run their same offense no matter the opponent. I mean we could always use extra practice on those screen passes that never work right
I remember I started a thread about how we were gonna stop Alabama from putting pressure on Burrow. We had people saying we gonna use screen passes. Lol. I want to just get better on offense during the season kinda like Georgia did. This is where a good offensive coordinator comes in.

He has help. We have shadow staff coaches now. Unfortunately Alabama has coaches like Dan Enos on their shadow staff and we get ULL guys.

Screw ideas he needs to retire, the game has passed him by, that goal line play on the 2 yard line vs Bama said it all
