You have to wonder where we are as a program when we are celebrating coming from behind to beat two mediocre teams in a regional that we were not good enough to host??? I love LSU but sometimes the truth hurts. Way to much talent to lose so many games.

Who is celebrating this?

There is a difference between celebrating results and understanding how we got those results and thinking the guy in charge can fix them.

Have you watched other teams play? There is a ton of talent on other teams. I have watched pitchers on teams that aren't in the P5 that looked much better than ours. We didn't really have any starting pitching this season...Hilliard shouldn't even be a sunday starter in SEC and he was our Friday starter.

Crews is incredible yet almost every team I've watched has guys with similar numbers or better in their line up. I think we will make great strides in the portal and recruiting this year.

I thought Mainieri was lazy in recruiting and we had no talent?

Way too much talent??? No talent on our pitching staff was our major problem. We had a few talented hitters but even they (except Tre and Dylan) were not complete players in the field.

Our program is fine. No one straight up dominates this sport anymore.

It's his decision making that is alarming. I mean the whole start Dutton for one batter thing, attempting to steal Bianco when baserunners were non existent instead of laying a bunt down, taking Hilliard out prematurely after he had settled in, taking Gervais out prematurely after he had settled in..etc ETC ETC

Dominate...we haven't been to Omaha in 5 years.
We can't even dominate the state of Louisiana anymore. Hell even Smoke made it to Omaha a couple of times.

Southern Miss is not a mediocre team.

LSU this season did not have the pitching staff to advance deep into the playoffs.

Accept that we advanced into the top 32 in the nation. Actually have not see celebration only realization we lacked pitching

Skip Bertman raised the bar at LSU and the entire college baseball world....and we thank him for that!

College baseball is a GREAT game, period....and the more competetive, the better!

More programs are better, and thats a good thing!

why would fans of any program not celebrate two come from behind wins in the NCAAT?
