Pistol Pete double bird.

Disagree. No statues needed. LSU isn't about the individual, it's about the institution. The all Americans being on the plaques on the west side is plenty.
The idea is that we have too many great players to have statues.

I would wish for something more original.
The reliefs someone suggested as a example.

No statues. We can recognize Tiger greats in other ways, we dont need to copy other schools.

there needs to be one of Ronnie Lewis displaying an uncomplimentary hand gesture to the student section after missing a fg in the Miami-Ohio loss in 1986.
You sure it wasn't the Alabama tie in 85?
Dallas of Delaware game wasn't close nough for a fg to matter

Disagree!!! We got a Tiger and a tail on saban's bronze look-a-like, that's enough for me...I don't think LSU is about statues, it is about the tradition of the Fighting Tigers, having a live mascot, and a beautiful campus...and don't forget the gorgeous coeds that walk around said campus...

here are probably a ton of past glorious football moments that would look great as reliefs on the side of the stadium.

Except they would be LSU moments and not Auburns and LSU fans could enjoy the recollections they bring to mind.
We shouldn't allow other schools to get into our heads. We shouldn't attempt to emulate them or avoid what they may have done in the past.

I agree that we do a poor job pimping our history. Does that mean we need more statues? I'm not sure.
I wish we would have built a true HOF museum where old Alex Box stood

I do think Pistol Pete deserves a staute. I know he has the P-Mac, but A statue of him doing a behind the back pass with the short shorts, baggy socks and chucks would be so cool! What he did for the game of Basketball is huge and without a doubt deserves a statue.
Honestly 'm not sure if there are any football players/Coaches who's legacy warrants a statue (yet). Maybe Dietzel.
I would say Billy Cannon, but he was a crook. Plus, I don't think winning the heisman should be automatic grounds for a statue. I mean, look how stupid Oklahoma looks with this garbage...
I think Bertman deserves a statue outside of the box, but only after he croaks. That's what statues are for anyway, to immortalize someones legacy.
If Les can get us 2 more NC I would say he deserves a statue as well.

Disagree.
Too many, someone will get left off that shouldn't and somebody will be added that shouldn't.
They have plaques on north side of TS.
Plenty.

I am not big on the whole statue thing but I am not totally against it. If it is done I think Bertman, Brown and Miles deserve one.
