4 total strikeouts all game. And Tennessee threw two really good pitchers. There were a lot of balls hit hard that just found a glove too. Very encouraging to see compared with high strikeout games earlier this season.

Morgan Crews and White went a combined 1 for 10. How often is that going to happen

After Tennessee's pitching coach flapped his gums to the ump, all of a sudden the strike zone expanded. It's not often you see an umpire reward a coach for being d-bag.

How their douchbag pitching coach doesn’t get tossed out of a game a week I’ll never know. The #1 rule in umpiring is to never take any crap from an assistant coach. Umps give the head coaches some leeway, but assistant coaches are supposed to keep their mouths shut and stay in the dugout. I’ve seen Tennessee's pitching coach outside of the dugout chirping at umpires far more than any other assistant coach.

Tommy tanks just isn’t confident right now. Swing looks long. Hopefully he figures it out.

He's hitting .376 after a slow start. Everything about Tanks screams confidence to me. He came to LSU to play in games like the one last night. I think it was the one game this year he was trying to do a little too much. He was trying to send every pitch into orbit.

The Tank is fine. His presence alone chased Dollander. That was huge in this game.

Did anyone notice the home plate ump not paying attention to the pitch clock on numerous occasions? Tre should have been walked the pitch before he hit into the double play. The pitch clock was on zero for a good 2-3 seconds.

I didn't notice that, but in terms of pitch clock, I absolutely loved how Skenes was using it to play mind games with the Tenn hitters.

Yes. Our group text thread was blowing up with that.

In the 3 games before last night, he went 5 for 11 with 2 HRs, 8 RBIs 5 runs scored. For the season he's batting .376 and I think he's leading the SEC in RBIs. What more can you ask of someone?

Yep. And the ump seemed to be inconsistent with the calls to the 1st base side of home plate.

He just murdered Arkansas less than a week ago. Him not hitting last night probably has more to do with the 2 mlb pitchers Tennessee three than anything to do with tanks
