This year. Their defense is legit.

Our offense is more legit, and we're at home.

We still have three real problems left on our schedule. The top end of the SEC is damn strong this year.

Run game is scary against the defense. Need our starters back.

yeah auburn is emerging as the 2nd most realistic loss on the schedule at this point. i think they have the best defense in america. certainly the best d-line.

but again, that game at home is one we should win 8/10 times.

Their wins against Oregon & Texas A&M have gotten them early attention but if anyone where to actually look deeper, they would see that those offenses are not very good. Oregon could only muster up 21 points against a below average Stanford defense while Texas A&M offense still thinks its the offseason.

I'd be shocked if we're able to gash them for 40+ points.

Their front 7 is their strength. They are vulnerable in the secondary. Give Burrow & the receivers time & he will carve them up.

A&M players all retired after they beat lsu in their super bowl last year. They've got the t shirts and cups to prove it

auburn's offense is also not very good. however, the thing they can do on offense is control the ball a little with that running game. nix is not good, but he is also a threat running the ball.

that's a game where if we aren't careful they'll have the ball for 40 minutes. obviously if we score 35+ points, that won't matter. just something to consider.

eta: this is also assuming gus isn't a moron and plays ball control. knowing him there's a good chance he just tries to play fast even though that wouldn't be a good idea against lsu. but gus is kind of a moron, so who knows.

Playing them late in the year is not good for us.

You can be sure them and bama pushed hard for us to be in the back half of the schedule. There are a lot of AU teams that LSU beat early and never would have late in the season.

Prepare to be shocked. We will score 40.
We will not let up either, if they get in a situation where they are demoralized and pissed, we will not let up. We can’t, unless we put in backups.

Hopefully our entire defensive line is healthy for that game. I want to see Mond decapitated by our pass rush.
