Starting to like Jordan Rodgers as an announcer/analyst

He has his opinions, isn't afraid to revisit them with new information (whereas a lot just pretend they never said something in the first place).
I thought he did a good job in last nights game. He broke down Max's int pretty clearly. He's growing into it.

If he gets excited about any play that LSU’s opponent makes, it’ll mean he hates us again. You can always tell by the tone.

Guy is a complete choad. IRL and on the air.
Also never forget him saying Joe Burrow was the 8th best QB in the SEC before 2019 started. I can understand 3rd or 4th, but come on.

Exhibit A ^. He said something that one time and had to change his mind later.
Unforgivable.

I actually liked them joking around a little in a blow out game. It was much easier to listen to than them trying to find positives to say about a clearly outmatched team getting destroyed.

It's not why I hate him, just helps.
He's a complete tool bag.

Don't deny that, but most of those guys are.

Yeah, thats an example of him coming back later and owning it. Most of those guys pretend they were never wrong. He admitted he was wrong. And he had reasons for his analysis, just ignored the improvement in Joe late in the year as being about the weaker opponent rather than Joe improving.

That shite annoyed the frick out of me last night.
Call the fricking game. I don’t care about that one time you got a handjob from a sorority chick after the Tennessee game while Jordan Matthews watched.
It’s a college game to be broadcast. Not a chance for A-Aron’s brother to reminisce about his glory days while checking his Twitter ratio and Instagram likes.
Dude is a giant douche canoe and it’s annoying.

I'm not the type of guy that lets the announcers bother me. I get more pissed at video production. I can't stand it when we get video close ups that hide the bigger picture of what is happening on the field. That's the advantage of attending the game in person. You can see the entire field and understand how the play away from the ball is effecting the entire play.
If the video producers have to choose between the football players zoomed in facial expression versus a zoomed out replay showing how a play was executed, they seem to err on the emotional video a lot. CBS does it more than ESPN tho. That's the most aggravating part of TV football for me.

So did 90% of our fan base. They let everyone know the entire offseason.

That's a staple of Tom Hart, and I may be the odd one out, but I like it. He always has good things to say about Baton Rouge and Louisiana, and he typically knows all the backstories on the players. Makes for a fun broadcast when the game is one-sided.
I like Jordan Rodgers too. His analysis on the pick six was great insight.

People here get pissed because Rogers sees things on a higher level. Most fans posting insight here see the field from a 3rd grade level. For those who appreciate the subtle nuances of the game he is a godsend

I only clicked for more pictures of Jo Jo.. highly disappointed

I like Tom Hart, but I still just can't stand Jordan Rogers. He goes on way-too-long rants about whatever and it takes away from real play calls and information about what you're actually trying to watch.

He has always been great, IMO.

Like Joe Burrow is not that good... he ate that one big time and his coworkers fed it to him well.

I don’t hold an early season ranking against him. And I was one of the people leading the charge when he released the ranking. He is a good announcer, IMO.

Jordan Rodgers calls the with violence in his voice.

This crew always completely quits on covering the game in the second half and goes off taking about personal shite like who has the most IG likes, or what they had for lunch. Meanwhile, there are backups in the game (last night) that deserve to have their names called. IDGAF if he had an oyster poboy or enjoyed a hot sausage before the game, at least announce the ball carrier and the tackler.
